Very soon I will be coming to you regularly through Christian Women Affiliate Television. My show, The Intentional Marriage, will launch on August 13th at 11:30 a.m. EST/8:30 a.m Pacific. This program has no limits and we will talk and discuss and laugh about all aspects of living the married life. Some of the ideas I'm currently toying with are:

With marriage in such jeopardy, especially here in California where the structure of marriage is under constant barrage, I feel like now is the time to talk about covenant marriage. What that looks like and why it’s so important especially in the light that marriage has and is being redefined in our legal system. I want to get women so excited about their Biblical marriage that they feel privileged to be married under the Covenant and protection of our Lord. I want them to take this message and share it with the next generation so our children understand how marriage is changing but God’s plan for marriage is solid, unchanging and designed to be His best vehicle to conform us to the likeness of Christ.

Then I want to talk about expectations and share some humorous stories and learn how we can truly release our marriage expectation to God and then watch as He replaces them and with God-given (new) hopes and dreams bigger and more fantastic than we could ever imagine.

We will chat about the bedroom.

I want to spend some time discussing the comparison trap women fall into when we look at other marriages. This will also be aimed at how we cripple ourselves as we compare ourselves to other women in general. This is a giant issue where satan holds many captive. That is not what the Lord wants for us as women and wives.
